The Golden State Warriors are rolling.

After taking a commanding 2-0 series lead behind a pair of blowout victories against the Denver Nuggets, the Warriors are starting to look the part of the NBA Championship contender we expected earlier in the season. Stephen Curry is back from injury, Draymond Green is playing at Defensive Player of the Year levels and Jordan Poole is a budding star.

So, where is the respect for the NBA Finals contenders as they look to finish off the Nuggets in Denver? Let's take a look at the Game 3 line from WynnBET Sportsbook:

Warriors vs. Nuggets Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Warriors: -2 (-110)
  • Nuggets: +2 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Warriors: -130
  • Nuggets: +110

Total: 224 (Over -110/Under -110)

Warriors Are NBA Finals Contenders

Given the injury to Devin Booker on Tuesday night in Game 2 of the Suns vs. Pelicans series, the Warriors are quickly turning into a legitimate title contender.

After winning by a combined 36 points at home, the Warriors now head on the road to face the Nuggets but are only laying two points? The Dubs closed as seven-point home favorites in Game 2, and this line is underrating the difference between the two teams.

While Nikola Jokic is the MVP of the league and holding up, the rest of the Nuggets can't hold a candle to the Warriors best lineup which features Curry, Poole, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Wiggins.

Jokic is a Nuggets worst minus-33.8 net rating according to NBA.com through two games, so while he can improve his play the team's role players can't keep up with the Warriors incredible shot making, posting the best effective field goal percentage of any postseason team (63.6%).

This line isn't factoring in the mismatches on both sides for Golden State. The team has Green to hold down Jokic and no other playmaker to generate offense. As for the defense, there's no keeping down this Warriors wagon right now. This is shaping up for a Golden State sweep and the line isn't factoring it in enough.
