After last playing against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7 of the 2020 season, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been cleared to play.

The Browns just lost wide receiver Jarvis Landry for a few weeks after placing him on IR because of a knee injury, so Beckham’s return could not have come at a better time.

WynnBET Sportsbook has Beckham's receiving yards prop set at 44.5 yards (over -116/under -115).

Beckham has always been a talented receiver, but the issue for him was never how he’ll play in a game, but whether he will play at all. Beckham has appeared in 16 games in a season just twice in his first seven seasons in the NFL, but has still managed to record five 1,000-yard receiving campaigns. Before the ACL injury, it appeared that Beckham and quarterback Baker Mayfield had a connection issue, with Beckham averaging only 45.6 receiving yards per game in his injury-shortened season.

Appearing in his first live-action football game since October 25th of last year, Beckham will line up against a Chicago Bears defense that got shredded by Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1, but thwarted Joe Burrow and the Bengals’ offense in Week 2.

Wide receivers have still found success against the Bears secondary, with Cooper Kupp picking up seven catches for 108 yards and a touchdown in Week 1, then allowing Tyler Boyd to catch seven passes for 73 yards and Tee Higgins to catch six passes for 60 yards and a touchdown in Week 2.

Cleveland may be a run-first football team, but the receiver could be a focal point against Chicago this week, and that’s a good omen for Beckham and the Jarvis Landry-less Browns receiving corps.

There is no question of the talent of Odell Beckham, so hopefully he and Mayfield can connect on Sunday. Beckham should surpass his receiving yards prop of 44.5.
