Ohio State's pursuit for the College Football Playoff continues in Lincoln, Nebraska against a struggling Cornhuskers team that can't seem to get out of their own way.

The Buckeyes have been on a roll since losing at home to Oregon in September, beating Penn State at home last weekend by double digits.

Meanwhile, Nebraska dropped another heart breaker, this time to Purdue, falling to 1-5 in Big Ten play and 3-6 on the year.

Let's break down the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook and find the best bet for this Big Ten matchup.

Ohio State vs. Nebraska Prediction and Pick

I played the over 64 in this one and I still like this over at 65 (slightly less because it is key number) mainly due to the game script.

Simply put, Ohio State's offense is a an offensive monster. We know this. CJ Stroud is building a Heisman Trophy case and the Buckeyes need to start putting up some monster score lines to impress the College Football Playoff Committee.

Ohio State is rushing for nearly six yards per carry, has allowed nine sacks this season, and is averaging more than 10 yards per attempt. They are going to score at will against Nebraska and have a reason to not take their foot off the gas.

As for the other side, Ohio State's defense still leaves some to be desired. The team is 46th in success rate and allows touchdowns on 70% of opponents red zone opportunities. The team does pressure the quarterback well, seventh in the nation in sacks on the year, but I am counting on Adrian Martinez to use his legs and create a few chunk plays to help the Cornhuskers on the scoreboard.

Nebraska also plays at a fast pace, averaging more than 70 plays per game and is 21st in yards per play. I think the Cornhuskers will do their part to help this game get over, but not put up much of a fight elsewhere.

Even if the Cornhuskers implode and look lifeless considering their season has went sideways, Ohio State has all the incentive to keep pushing for points, making me like this over even more.

Pick: Over 65 (-110)
