Ohio vs. Bowling Green Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 13
By Matt De Saro
MAC-tion continues on Friday afternoon between East Division rivals Ohio Bobcats (3-8) and Bowling Green Falcons (3-8). Both teams have identical overall records but the Bobcats are 3-4 in conference play while the Falcons are just 1-6.
Bowling Green is coming into thie week off back-to-back losses to Miami (Ohio) and Toledo by a combined score of 83-24. Quarterback Matt McDonald was only able to muster up 108 yards with no touchdowns. The Falcons' rushing game was equally ineffective totaled 150 yards on 35 carries and their usually good defense fell apart.
The Bobcats are also coming off a loss after Toledo’s Bryant Koback scored four toucdowns and ran for 203 yards. Ohio’s offense looked pretty good with quarterback Kurtis Rouke passing for 223 yards and a touchdown. However, it wasn’t enough to make up for such a poor game from the defense.

Ohio vs. Bowling Green Prediction and Pick
These two teams match up pretty well but Bowling Green has been in a bit of a tailspin lately. If this game happened mid-season, I would have a harder time choosing a pick. But, the Falcons are playing lost right now and I don’t see them turning things around in their last game of the season.
This doesn’t mean that I think that the Bobcats are a lock to win this game. While their conference record is better and they have won two of their last three games, Ohio is still a bad team. They average less than 200 yards passing per game and rank 100th in the FBS.
The Falcons, to their credit, allow just 170.5 yards passing per game which ranks them ninth in the nation. The Falcons’ offense is just not good enough to capitalize on this. The team averages 6.0 yards per pass and 183.2 yards per game in the air. Both of those stats rank them outside of the top-100.
The point here is that this game will feature two very weak offenses, one of which is playing even worse than usual. I think this is an ugly game on the offensive side and the defenses control the pace of this game and keep it a low scoring season finale.
Pick: Ohio-Bowling Green UNDER 48.0 (-110)
