The Edmonton Oilers have lost two of their last three games after their nearly unblemished start to the season. Edmonton had Stuart Skinner between the pipes in both of the Oilers last two losses.

Mikko Koskinen will be in the net tonight.

Meanwhile, the St. Louis Blues have lost three of their last four games, losing to the Carolina Hurricanes last night, 3-2.

The Blues have been dealing with COVID-19 issues in their clubhouse, and some players' availability for tonight's game is up in the air, including defenseman Torey Krug and center Brayden Schenn.

Here are the odds for this matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Oilers vs. Blues Odds and Total

Moneyline:

  • Oilers -110
  • Blues +100

Puck Line:

  • Oilers +1.5 (-245)
  • Blues -1.5 (+205)

Total: 6 (Over -110/Under -110)

Oilers vs. Blues Prediction and Pick

The Oilers offense is extremely powerful. Their powerplay is firing at over 40 percent, they have the leading goal scorer in the NHL in Leon Draisaitl, the league leader in assists in Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Conner McDavid sits just behind Draisaitl in the NHL points race.

The Blues offense isn’t bad, but everyone is taking a back seat to Edmonton’s offense.

Both teams have been shaky in the last week or so, and with both clubs looking to get back on track it’s hard seeing the Blues get right against the Oilers. St. Louis will have a better opportunity to get back on track on Tuesday against the Arizona Coyotes.

I’ll wait until WynnBET Sportsbook shifts the puck line in Edmonton’s favor, but I’d still take the Oilers on the moneyline.

Pick: Oilers -110
