Oklahoma State vs Iowa State Prediction and Odds (Cowboys To Slow Down Surging Cyclones)
By Joe Summers
The 20-9 Iowa State Cyclones bring a four-game winning streak into tonight's matchup with the 13-15 Oklahoma State Cowboys at 7:00 PM EST.
Iowa State's winning streak follows a four-game losing skid and they'll try to stay hot against a Cowboys squad that's just 3-8 over their last 11. Will the Cyclones continue to impress behind torrid shooting or will Oklahoma State's defense rise to the challenge on the road?

Oklahoma State vs Iowa State Prediction and Pick
The Cyclones have been on fire offensively of late. On the season, they rank in the 35th percentile in offensive rating but are in the 84th over their last five. They're draining three's at a higher rate than average and are shooting over 73% at the rim.
But as their offense has improved, their stout defense has fallen from the 94th percentile in rating to 38th over their last five. It's no surprise then, that the over is 4-1 in that stretch.
Iowa State should see some offensive regression against an Oklahoma State defense that has the 11th-best adjusted efficiency nationally, per Bart Torvik. The Cowboys have the 13th-best defensive two-point shooting percentage and played the Cyclones tough in an 84-81 loss in January.
We should see a ton of turnovers. Iowa State ranks 283rd in offensive turnover rate but 6th in defensive turnover rate while Oklahoma State is 316th and 19th, respectively.
The Cowboys have been terrible on the road, failing to cover in five straight, but I think this is a good spot to fade the Cyclones' unsustainable shooting. Iowa State is only 2-4 ATS in their last six as a favorite. When these teams first played in January, Oklahoma State was a three-point home favorite. I know the Cowboys have been bad lately, but I can't get to a seven-point swing and think we'll see a close one.
Oklahoma State should have a lot of free throw opportunities as Iowa State is 318th in defensive free throw rate while the Cowboys are 71st in offensive free throw rate. I think we'll see that be the difference in a cover for the road underdog tonight as the Cyclones look ahead to their showdown with Baylor in their next game.
Pick: Oklahoma State +4 (-110)
