Texas Tech has put together arguably the best stretch of any team this season, nearly winning at Iowa State before beating Kansas and handing No. 1 Baylor its first loss of the season in Waco on Tuesday night.

Now, they have a quick turnaround to face Oklahoma State, who has a conference win over Texas to their name, but also lost at West Virginia on Tuesday.

Who has the edge in this Thursday night showdown? Here are the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook.

Oklahoma State vs. Texas Tech Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Oklahoma State +7.5 (-110)
  • Texas Tech -7.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Oklahoma State +265
  • Texas Tech -350

Total: 129.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Oklahoma State vs. Texas Tech Prediction and Pick

This is a great sell high spot on Texas Tech, who are fresh off of the most impressive win of the season, winning at Baylor as 12-point underdogs.

Oklahoma State is far from the class of the conference, but they are a difficult bunch to handle, ranking top 15 in turnover rate and two-point defense, per KenPom.

This is going to physical game with two similar teams that pride themselves on their defense. There are likely going to be a ton of whistles loose balls on both sides, but I don't see a massive gap between these two teams that the line indicates. With a low total I'm expecting a rock fight and not much separation.

Texas Tech is shooting 66% from the free throw line as a team, 304th best in the country, which hurts them as they look to close out a game and win with margin. Not to mention, the team could have a letdown after two massive efforts in the past week to beat two top 10 teams.

While the Pokes struggle on offense, shooting just 29% from three, I believe they can hang around in this matchup.

It's worth noting that the team beat the Red Raiders in overtime twice last season, so the two are always prepared for war. Yes, Oklahoma State had No. 1 pick Cade Cunningham, but I believe coach Mike Boynton gets the team up for this game after a 10-point loss at West Virginia on Tuesday.

I make this game closer to 5 and think there is a serious premium on Texas Tech in this one.

PICK: Oklahoma State +7.5
