Oklahoma vs. Texas A&M Prediction and Odds for College World Series (Sparks Set To Fly In Omaha)
Before we dive into this preview, know that you are getting the most objective look at this game since it’s being written by a University of Texas graduate. If I had my way, both teams would tie 0-0.
Now back to the preview.
The Aggies and Sooners are set to give us fireworks in Omaha. The Sooners are the big underdog remaining in the tournament, yet come into this matchup as the favorite. Oklahoma already knocked off one of the big guns in Florida to get here. Will they be able to keep the Cinderella story alive against the Aggies?

Oklahoma vs. Texas A&M Prediction and Pick
If the Aggies are going to pull off the upset, they’ll need their bats to show up like they have all season. Texas A&M is batted nearly .300 as a team and hit 76 home runs this year. They’ll have a decent chance to get the job done, as the Sooners’ starting pitchers won’t be throwing any perfect games any time soon.
Oklahoma has one pitcher, Trevin Michael, that has an ERA under 3.00 (His is at 2.94). The Sooners have powerful bats on their side as well. Oklahoma hit 70 home runs this season, making this a potential home run derby in disguise. I’m not sure if the pitching for the Sooners will hold up in this matchup, giving me hope the Aggies will turn this into a shootout.
On the other hand, the Aggies’ starting pitchers definitely aren’t considered to be aces, so the Sooners could get off to a fast start. Both of these teams come into this series hot. With the pitching a little suspect, I’m going to back the OVER here.
Lean: OVER 11 (-115)
