Old Dominion vs. Charleston Prediction and Odds for Tuesday, November 29 (Go OVER With Fast-Paced Cougars)

The Old Dominion Monarchs are looking to stay above .500 on Tuesday when they hit the road to play the College of Charleston Cougars.
Charleston comes into this game at 6-1, with its lone loss coming to North Carolina in its second game of the season. The Cougars have some impressive wins this season, beating Davidson by 23, Colorado State by 10 and taking down Richmond and Virginia Tech.
The Cougars move the ball, with four different players averaging double figures and seven players averaging at least 7.7 points per game.
Can that balanced attack lead them to a home win over Jeff Jones’ Monarchs?

KenPom projects this as just a four-point win for the Cougars, but when you look at the one common opponent between these two teams, that seems too short.
Charleston absolutely dominated Davidson in their meeting earlier this season, while the Monarchs came up short to the Wildcats for one of their three losses.
Jones’ squad does have an impressive win over Furman, but I’m not comfortable backing the Monarchs, even as seven-point dogs.
That being said, I think a play on the total is the best way to wager on this game.
Charleston pushes the pace, and that’s a major reason why the team was able to hang around with the North Carolina Tar Heels earlier this season. The Cougars play the No. 29 adjusted tempo in the country, and they rank inside the top 100 in effective field goal percentage and adjusted offensive tempo.
Old Dominion isn’t nearly as effective on offense, but the team does limit turnovers (37th in the country in turnover percentage), and it is a top-35 team in offensive rebounding this season.
The Cougars have gone over this number in five of their seven games this season, and I think they do so again with an ODU team that has scored over 70 points in five of its seven games.
