A spot in the College World Series Final is on the line on Thursday, as the Ole Miss Rebels and Arkansas Razorbacks will face off in an elimination game at 4 p.m. EST.

Arkansas kept its season alive with a 3-2 win on Wednesday against the Rebels, who have been on fire this postseason.

Now, Ole Miss will try to bounce back after being the last team added into the field of 64 for the College World Series. The Cinderella run has been impressive, and the Rebels are sending out their No. 1 starter, junior Dylan DeLucia in this game.

Arkansas will counter with its ace, senior Connor Noland. DeLucia has been fantastic this postseason, sporting a 2.33 ERA with 31 strikeouts in 19⅓ innings. All season he’s dominated as a starting pitcher, posting a 2.85 ERA in 66⅓ innings across 11 starts.

Let’s jump into the odds for this game via consensus sportsbook:

Ole Miss vs. Arkansas Odds, Run Line and Total

Run Line:

  • Ole Miss: +1.5 (-165)
  • Arkansas: -1.5 (+140)

Moneyline:

  • Ole Miss: +100
  • Arkansas: -120

Total:

  • 9.5 (Over -105/Under -115)

Ole Miss vs. Arkansas Prediction and Pick

Despite the impressive numbers this season, DeLucia has a 7.50 ERA on short rest, so the advantage actually may go to Noland in this matchup.

The Rebels have blitzed teams with a potent offense, scoring 22 runs against Arizona in regionals, 10 against Southern Mississippi in a game in the Super Regionals and 13 in its first game against the Razorbacks in the College World Series.

However, yesterday, the offense came back to earth in a 3-2 loss, and that could be a troublesome sign with Noland on the bump.

Instead of backing a side, I’m going to lean with the UNDER since both teams are throwing their aces. Unlike previous games, both teams should have a quick hook with their starters if things start to get out of hand, as it’s all hands on deck to make the College World Series Final.

Lean: UNDER 9.5 (-115)
