Arkansas and Ole Miss are set to do battle in Fayetteville on Saturday night in what is shaping up to be a big game for the Hogs.

Arkansas needs one more win to qualify for a bowl game this season, sitting at 5-5, as injuries have mounted up on both sids of the ball. However, the Razorbacks should be getting back their starting quarterback KJ Jefferson, who missed last weeks 13-10 loss to LSU. Can Arkansas get the better of Ole Miss as a small home underdog?

Here's the odds for this Week 12 meeting:

Ole Miss vs. Arkansas Odds, Spread and Total

Ole Miss vs. Arkansas Betting Trends

  • Arkansas is 2-3 against the spread (ATS) as an underdog this season
  • Arkansas has gone OVER in seven of 10 games this season
  • Ole Miss has gone OVER in three of four games on the road this season

Ole Miss vs. Arkansas Prediction and Pick

Arkansas nearly pulled an upset last weekend against LSU with a pair of backups manning quarterback duties in Malik Hornsby and Cade Fortin, but are likely going to get Jefferson back, a massive upgrade under center.

Jefferson, a dual threat quarterback that has six rushing touchdowns, will be up against an Ole Miss defense that is bottom third nationally in EPA/Rush and success rate against the run. On the other side, the Rebels should carve up a shorthanded Arkansas secondary that 95th in EPA/Play this season on defense. Lane Kiffin's offense is No. 20 nationally in success rate and should see little resistance after facing a stout Alabama defense.

Not to mention, both teams are going to play at a frenetic pace, each team is inside the top 15 in plays per minute.

I think this is a strength vs. weakness matchup for both offenses against the opposing defense and points should come in bunches. While there are some different players on the field, these two played a thrilling shootout last season, 52-51 that came down to a two point conversion in the final seconds.

I'll bank on another over here with Jefferson back and healthy.
