We are treated to some PAC-12 After Dark on a Friday when Oregon State heads to Seattle to face Washington.

Both teams are fresh off a bye as they look to notch a signature win of their season as both are firmly in the top half of PAC-12 play this season. Washington's offense has been far more explosive this season under first year head coach Kalen DeBoer and transfer quarterback Michael Penix Jr, but can they slow down the Oregon State rush-heavy offense?

Here's the odds and our best bet:

Oregon State vs. Washington Prediction and Pick

It's worth noting that the under is taking some money due to possible inclement weather in the Seattle area on Friday night, but I still lean towards the over. There is rain in the forecast all evening on Friday night with projected wins of 18 miles per hour.

However, Oregon State's ground-first attack could find success whether it is rain or shine. The team is 33rd in success rate on the ground and will be facing a Washington defense that is 90th in defensive rush success rate. This should be a strong matchup for Jonathan Smith's unit that has one of the best offensive lines in the PAC-12, top 20 in limiting sacks and line yards.

Washington's offense has been dynamite, able to run and pass with ease, second in EPA/Play on the year. The rain could effect deep passes, but with another strong offensive that has allowed the second fewest tackles for loss this season, I expect the Huskies to flirt with the mid 30's once again.

I simply don't trust either defense to string together stops, but it may be best to wait and see if more steam comes in on the under.
