Oregon vs. Texas A&M Prediction and Pick

This isn't going to be fun for Oregon.

After traveling to Utah State in Tuesday night's 83-74 opening round NIT win, the Ducks have to play in the early start time game at 11 a.m. CT in College Station. That's back-to-back road games, with the latter basically being a 9 a.m. PT tip-off.

Despite both offenses ranking in the top 70 in adjusted efficiency, an early start time for both squads is not indicative of typical offensive success. Furthermore, Texas A&M's keys to victory has been about a re-committed effort defensively. Over their previous five games, the Aggies' defensive rating of 97.8 ranks in the 83rd percentile of college basketball. They've also been a great team at getting to the free throw line, ranking in the 99th percentile of the whole league at a 40% free throw attempt rate.

Between their renewed commitment on defense and the Ducks' shots likely not falling, the under feels very much in play.

PICK: UNDER 142.5 (-110)
