The Oregon Ducks (5-1) will visit the Rose Bowl in Pasadena to take on the UCLA Bruins (5-2) in a Pac-12 Conference matchup in Week 8.

The Ducks picked up a close win over the California Golden Bears last week, scoring 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to win 24-17. Both late Oregon touchdowns were scored by quarterback Anthony Brown, coming through when it mattered most; a 20-yard touchdown pass to receiver Jaylon Redd and an 11-yard touchdown run from Brown.

UCLA won by the same score last week, beating the Washington Huskies 24-17. Bruins quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson threw a touchdown pass to tight end Greg Dulcich; the only score in the fourth quarter.

Oregon vs. UCLA Prediction and Pick

Oregon won narrowly last week and lost in overtime to Stanford the week prior. After the upset over Ohio State, the Ducks have looked a little wobbly.

Oregon is a great running team, with the backfield tandem of C.J. Verdell and Travis Dye, but UCLA has one of the better rushing defenses in the country, allowing just 91.1 rushing yards per game. If the focus of the Ducks offense can’t get going, it could be a tough one for Oregon on the road.

The Bruins have a solid rushing combo of their own in Zach Charbonnet and Britain Brown, and the Ducks’ rushing defense has not been as good as UCLA’s.

I think there will be a lot of rushing in this game, and UCLA will win that rushing battle.

I’m taking UCLA on the spread at -1.5 and I’m taking the under 60.
