At +215, the Baltimore Orioles are the biggest underdogs on Thursday’s MLB schedule as of right now. And for good reason.

The O's are dead last in the AL East, taking just one series win in their last six tries. They put up a fight in a 7-6 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday, but the best they can hope for is a series split this afternoon.

How will today’s finale end? Let’s dig in and find out.

Here are the odds for Game 4 of the set from Toronto.

Orioles vs. Blue Jays Odds, Run Line, and Total

Run Line

  • Orioles: +1.5 (+105)
  • Blue Jays: -1.5 (-125)

Moneyline:

  • Orioles: +215
  • Blue Jays: -265

Total:

  • Total .5 (Over -115/Under -105)

Orioles vs. Blue Jays Prediction and Pick

Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman has been very good so far this year, but I see some signs of regression on the horizon. In fact, I think it’s already begun.

Gausman has seen his ERA rise month to month after finishing April at 2.19, he ended May at 2.72. Both are very good marks, to be clear. But, two games into June, his ERA is up to 3.72 after two straight team losses; the second of which came against a very bad Detroit Tigers team.

While this is normally good news for underdog bettors, the Orioles are so bad that I don’t trust their offense to take advantage of Gausman’s mini-slump. And let’s be honest, he’s playing worse but still at a higher level than most starters in the league.

Tyler Wells makes the start for Baltimore, but after giving up three earned runs against the Royals, I think Toronto feasts on the young righty. Toronto ranks second in batting average, third in slugging percentage, and sixth in BABIP.

The Blue Jays are safe on getaway day on the run line.

Pick: Blue Jays -1.5 (-125)
