The Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Rays are in the midst of a battle for the top spot in the AL East.

If either team is able to win this weekend series, they will hold the top spot in the division. So far, the series with split 1-1 with the Orioles taking Game 1 on Thursday and the Rays bouncing back with a win on Friday.

Let's dive into the odds for the pivotal Game 3 on Saturday afternoon.

Orioles vs. Rays odds, run line, and total

Orioles vs. Rays prediction and pick

This bet seems like a no-brainer with Grayson Rodriguez (7.33 ERA) set to take on Shane McClanahan (2.56 ERA) of the Rays.

McClanahan has a stellar 11-1 record so far this season and now he's a top Cy Young candidate in the American League. He has already pitched against the Orioles once this seaosn, giving up four hits and zero earned runs in what resulted in a 3-0 win for Tampa Bay back on May 8th.

Rodriguez pitched against the Rays on May 9th, and gave up seven hits and two earned runs. He was sent down to the minors for a stint throughout June, but things seem to not have changed. In his first game back in the Majors, he allowed seven hits and four earned runs to the Dodgers.

One of the key things we need to note ahead of this game is that the Rays bullpen has bounced back in a big way lately. After an abysmal first half of the season, Tampa Bay now ranks fifth in bullpen ERA (3.40) over the past 30 days.

If their bullpen can compliment McClanahan again today, the Orioles are in a ton of trouble.
