Another night in the West Coast Conference and another night that Gonzaga is massive favorites over a conference rival.

Tonight’s victims are the Pacific Tigers who are 7-16 overall and just 2-6 in conference play. The Tigers most recently lost to USC 74-68 but were able to cover as 19 point underdogs. While this may give some hope that the Tigers can keep pace with the Bulldogs, think again.

The Trojans have the 93rd ranked offense in the nation while the Bulldogs rank number one. The Bulldogs are also the top team in the nation in score margin, winning games by an average of 25.6 points. They have won three of their last four games as double-digit favorites with the lone exception being a game against Portland where they failed to cover by a half-point.

Pacific vs. Gonzaga Prediction and Pick

As is becoming a weekly theme, I will once again try to convince you why betting on Gonzaga as a huge favorite is a good idea. We’re 2-0 with the Bulldogs in their last two games against San Diego and BYU and I expect this game to shape up much the same way.

To recap what I have covered previously, I think the Bulldogs are the most impressive offense in the nation right now despite ranking behind Purdue on the Kenpom ratings.

Pacific, meanwhile, isn't in the same realm of production and ranks 288th in the nation in scoring and 213th on defense in the same category. Gonzaga has made it a habit to feast on teams like Pacific. Especially in conference play where the Bulldogs are 6-1-1 against the spread.

The Zags are also 11-5 ATS coming off a win and 12-8-1 ATS overall. The Tigers, who have yet to win a game on the road, are in for a rough evening.

Lean: Gonzaga: -32 (-110)
