What a move up the odds board it's been for the Green Bay Packers this offseason.

WynnBET now has Green Bay with the third-shortest odds to win the Super Bowl, coming in at +1200. Green Bay is tied with the Los Angeles Rams at that spot, but well behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+650) and Kansas City Chiefs (+475) who are second and first respectively.

Green Bay was as low as +1800 to win the Super Bowl this offseason with all of the uncertainty surrounding Aaron Rodgers’ future with the team. Now that Rodgers is officially back and fresh off an MVP season, WynnBET has steadily moved the Packers’ odds up from +1500 to +1200.

The Packers were close to knocking off Tom Brady and the Bucs in the NFC Championship game last season, but a questionable decision to kick a late field goal down eight points, along with a penalty on the ensuing Bucs’ drive cost the Packers a trip to the Super Bowl.

Green Bay has been good, but not good enough for several seasons, including falling short in each of the last two NFC title games.

Is this the year that the Packers finally break through?

I’m going to make my preseason Super Bowl pick now and get on the Packers bandwagon this season, mainly because I believe in Aaron Rodgers to finally get that elusive second ring.

Write it in stone.

Rodgers and Davante Adams have already deemed this season to be their “Last Dance,” as Rodgers may not be a Packer following the 2021 season.

Green Bay has kept most of the roster from last season intact by bringing back Aaron Jones, Kevin King, Robert Tonyan and others to take another swing at winning a Super Bowl.

Green Bay had much more value when Rodgers was still unsure about his future, but bettors didn’t want to sink their money into a team that could have been led by Jordan Love instead of last year’s MVP (no offense).

With Rodgers motivated to prove everyone wrong again after his MVP season in 2020, I like the Packers as a pick to win the Super Bowl, especially considering their current odds provide more value than Kansas City or Tampa Bay if you consider the three teams on the same level.
