The Green Bay Packers are still alive in the hunt for the playoffs, but they can't afford to lose any of their final three games of the regular season.

They'll have their hands full in Week 16 when they head down South to face the Miami Dolphins, who are still looking to officially lock up their postseason berth.

Let's dive into the odds for this game and then I'll give you my prediction.

Packers vs. Dolphins Odds, Spread, and Total

Packers vs. Dolphins Betting Trends

  • The OVER is 4-1 in the Packers' last five games
  • Packers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against Dolphins
  • The UNDER is 7-2 in the Packers' last nine games against AFC East opponents
  • Packers are 14-0 straight up in their last 14 games played in December.
  • The OVER is 5-2 in the Dolphins' last seven games
  • Dolphins are 11-1 straight up in their last 12 home games

Packers vs. Dolphins Prediction and Pick

This might just be my favorite bet of Week 16 of the NFL season.

Sure, the Dolphins are 0-3 in their last three games, but it was a three game road trip that had them going up against arguably the two best teams in the NFL in the 49ers and Bills. Now, they return home against a Packers teams that has looked terrible for the better part of the season.

Not only that, but over that three game stretch, the Dolphins still rank third in the NFL in net yards per play at +0.8.

Miami, who owns the most explosive offense in the NFL, is going to get the chance to tee off against a Packers secondary that is 19th in opponent yards per play and 18th in opponent yards per completion.

Don't be fooled by the Packers Week 15 Monday Night Football win against the lowly Rams. This is a matchup between two teams who are on completely different level. The Dolphins are still an elite team, and should be treated as such.

I think the Dolphins win with margin in this one and it's my most confident wager of the week.
