Padres vs. Rockies Prediction and Odds for Saturday, September 24th (Yu Darvish Is Key For Padres)
With just 11 games left, the San Diego Padres are holding on tight to the wild card spot. They are 2.5 games up on the Milwaukee Brewers and need to finish strong to end up in the postseason.
San Diego is 7-9 straight up and 4-12 on the run line against the Rockies this year. Will those struggles continue or will the Padres get a much-needed win?

Padres vs. Rockies Prediction and Pick
With Yu Darvish on the mound, this is the Padres game to lose. San Diego is 5-0 in Darvish’s last five starts, with Darvish recording the win in all five of those starts.
Darvish hasn’t allowed a run in his last two starts and has gone scoreless in three of his last four outings.
In the last two weeks, the Rockies are 15th in OPS and 22nd in runs scored. Even at home and the high-altitude advantage, the Rockies will need to pick that up in order to be in this game.
Nevertheless, Darvish’s recent run of dominance is too much for me to overlook. I’ll take the Padres, and I don’t expect it to be close.
