Padres vs. Rockies Prediction and Odds for Tuesday, July 12 (San Diego Undervalued Again)
By Reed Wallach
The Padres cashed as road favorites on Monday, now can they make it two in a row?
San Diego held off Colorado, 6-5, on Monday behind C.J. Abrams' three-run homer in the eighth inning. Now, the team looks to continue its fine play on Tuesday with Mike Clevinger on the mound.
This is setting up to be a similar spot for the Padres as the one on Monday. Should we expect the same result?
Here are the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook before we make a pick.

Total:

Padres vs. Rockies Prediction and Pick
Clevinger has been rock solid since coming off of the injured list due to a triceps strain, allowing eight runs across 21 innings and striking out three batters for every one walk he is dealing. He faces a Rockies team that thrives at home in the hitter-friendly Coors Field, but is just 26th in wRC+ since the beginning of July.
Meanwhile, San Diego loves to get away from home, going from bottom 10 to top 10 in wRC+ when the team goes away from Petco Park. San Diego will welcome the opportunity to face Austin Gomber, a lefty who has an ERA of 6.64 at home this season.
The Padres are the better team with a better pitcher. We saw it on Monday, and we'll likely see it again, so I'll be jumping on the short price.
LEAN: Padres ML -131
