Panthers vs. Cardinals Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for NFL Week 10
By Matt De Saro
The 4-5 Carolina Panthers hit the road in Week 10 to face off against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium.
It will be a very tough test for a Panthers team that has struggled through most of the season. Carolina has lost five of their last six games after a 3-0 start to the season.
Last week, the Panthers got crushed 24-6 at home by the New England Patriots. Sam Darnold was largely ineffective, throwing for three interceptions. Even the return of Christian McCaffrey did little to help the Panthers in this game.
Meanwhile, even without their three best offensive players, the Cardinals managed an impressive 31-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers. This was a big win and showed that even without Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green, the 8-1 Cardinals are still the team to beat. Colt McCoy stepped up and threw for 249 yards and a touchdown while James Connor ran for 173 yards with three touchdowns.
The defense also stepped up and sacked Jimmy Garoppolo five times and added three takeaways.

Panthers vs. Cardinals Prediction and Pick
The general consensus is that Kyler Murray will be healthy enough to return in Week 10. He was a late scratch from Week 9 and participated in pregame workouts with the team, However, even if Colt McCoy is forced to start again, the result shouldn’t change much.
McCoy played very well in relief of Murray and with the state of the Panthers defense, either one could lead this team to victory.
The return of Christian McCaffrey is nice to see but just isn’t enough for this team to remain competitive. Sadly, he can’t play quarterback or defense on top of his rushing duties. Those two areas are the main issues that Carolina is dealing with right now. Darnold looked as bad as ever last week in its loss to New England. Arizona has one of the better defenses in the league and should have a field day with Darnold.
I don’t see any way that the Panthers score enough to keep up with Murray and Co., heck even McCoy and Co. Arizona expects the return of their star QB and WR, but even without them, the Cardinals should cruise to an easy win.
Pick: Arizona Cardinals -10.0 (-110)
