The Giants were one of the most surprising winners of last weekend and now enter as small home favorites in hopes of starting 2-0 for the first time since 2-0.

You can check out our Giants-Panthers game preview here, but this article is going to focus on the prop market, namely Comeback Player of the Year candidate Saquon Barkley and Panthers star receiver D.J. Moore.

Let's check out the odds from FanDuel Sportsbook

Best Prop Bets For Panthers-Giants Week 2

  • Saquon Barkley OVER 27.5 Receiving Yards
  • Daniel Jones UNDER 204.5 Passing Yards
  • D.J. Moore OVER 59.5 Receiving Yards

Saquon Barkley OVER 27.5 Receiving Yards

Barkley was heavily involved in the passing game in Week 1, getting seven targets and catching six of them for 30 yards.

I expect Barkley, who looked particularly explosive in Week 1 to be a big part of the passing game again. We'll get to the Daniel Jones prop bet below, but he had the fourth lowest average depth of target in Week 1 and I expect check downs for the Giants QB, meaning a ton of usage for Barkley.

With a juiced receptions prop, I'll turn to the receiving yards prop to get back Barkley in the passing game.

Daniel Jones UNDER 204.5 Passing Yards

Jones passed for 188 yards in Week 1, and I expect another simple game plan for the Giants passing game on Sunday. There was footage of Brian Daboll chewing out Jones on the sideline for a mistake he made in the second half of the win over the Titans, and maybe I'm putting too much stock into this one clip, but I don't envision a heavy pass game for No. 8

Jacoby Brissett passed for 147 yards in the Browns win over the Panthers in Week 1, and I can see Carolina's secondary keeping explosive pass plays to a minimum on Sunday again.

D.J. Moore OVER 58.5 Receiving Yards

Giants starting cornerback Aaron Robinson will miss the game on Sunday, one of the several injuries to the New York defense. I can see Baker Mayfield getting time to throw with Kayvon Thibodeaux and Azeez Ojulari doubtful for the game and finding his No. 1 target Moore.

Moore went over this total in 9 of 17 games last season and think this matchup sets up favorably for him to get his quota on Sunday given the injuries to the Giants back seven.
