Panthers vs. Rams Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for NFL Week 6 (These Aren't the Same Rams)
The Carolina Panthers will look like a completely team this Sunday when they take on the Los Angeles Rams. They fired their head coach, Matt Rhule, on Monday morning, and quarterback Baker Mayfield will miss some time with an injury ankle. PJ Walker will likely take over as quartberack.
They'll meet the defending Super Bowl champions on Sunday, who are looking to get back on track after a terrible 2-3 start to their season, including two-straight losses to the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys.
Let's take a look at the latest odds for the game, and then I'll give you my best bet and prediction.

Panthers vs. Rams Prediction and Pick
I don't care what is going on with the Panthers organization, I simply can not lay 10 points on a team who ranks dead last in yards per play this season. That's right, heading into Week 6, the Rams rank 32nd in yards per play, averaging just 4.8 yards per snap.
Make fun of the Panthers all you want, but they have been averaging more yards per snap than the defending Super Bowl champions.
In the Rams defense, they've played three of the best defenses in the league so far this season, but they still should have posted better numbers than they have.
Even their defense has been performing worse than Carolina's. The Panthers defense is allowing 5.3 yards per play, and the Rams are allowing 5.4 yards per play.
The Rams offensive line has been a glaring issue for them. They rank 31st in yards per carry at 3.2 yards per rush, and 30th in QB sacked percentage at 9.77%.
These aren't the same Rams that won last year's Super Bowl, and I'm ready to admit that. I'll take the points with PJ Walker and the Panthers.
