The last time we saw Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, things didn't go so well.

Mahomes had the worst half of his career as the Chiefs shockingly blew an 18-point lead at home in the AFC Championship to the Bengals. To make things worse, Mahomes' last pass was an interception to give Cincinnati a short field to win the game.

In case that wasn't bad enough, the Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill to the Dolphins in the offseason. After having months to stew on bitter disappointment, Mahomes now will enter this upcoming season without his No. 1 wide receiver that accounted for 4654 yards and 43 touchdowns over the last four seasons.

Despite all that, Mahomes will eviscerate his season-long props from WynnBET Sportsbook. I'm biased, being from Kansas City and all, but I find these lines to be shockingly low and may be calling up the bank for a "Can't-Miss Investment Opportunity" and massive loan.

Mahomes Season-Long Props

  • Passing Touchdowns: 33.5 (Over -110/Under -110)
  • Passing Yards: 4,150 (Over -110/Under -110)

Is this a mistake? Did someone at WynnBET make a typo?

Mahomes has played 63 regular season games in his career. In those, he has averaged 2.4 passing touchdowns and 301.4 passing yards per contest.

If he maintains his averages, Mahomes only needs 14 weeks to break both props. There's 17 games in an NFL season now, so the former Super Bowl MVP could fall off a bit or suffer a modest injury and still have room to spare!

In fact, the only time in his career Mahomes didn't eclipse these season-long props was his injury-shortened 2019 season. Even though he lost Cheetah to Miami, there is no reason these lines should be so low.

This is the best offensive line Mahomes will have ever had, and Travis Kelce still exists. The wide receiver group is deep with offseason signings of JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdez-Scantling to pair with second-round pick Skyy Moore and fourth-year holdover Mecole Hardman. Speaking of Hardman, this is his last chance to prove himself with the Chiefs and I expect a big season. To quote the late Kansas City legend Terez Paylor, "the contract year is undefeated."

Put it altogether and there's screaming value on Mahomes to eviscerate his season-long props. I think his MVP odds of +750 are worth a look too. Make sure head on over to WynnBET to lock those bets in before they fix their typo. I'll meet you there - I have a couple calls to Bank of America to make first.
