Patriots vs. Bills Prediction and Pick

The Patriots have been the hottest team in the NFL recently, winning and covering the spread in their last six games, but it's time to sell them while their stock is high.

If you're able to look past the few dud games that the Bills have played this season, they're still arguably the best team in the NFL from a statistics point of view. They rank sixth in the NFL in yards per play (5.9), and first in opponent yards per play (4.6). The Patriots rank 14th and third in those respective stats.

If there is one weakness that the Bills do have, it's in stopping the run. Elite running backs like Derrick Henry and Jonathan Taylor have had big games against Buffalo, but New England doesn't have a workhorse back that's at the level of those two players.

Don't let recency bias over the Patriots cloud your judgement. Buffalo is the play in this spot.

Pick: Bills -3
