The New England Patriots took a lot less time than I expected to find their way back into the playoff hunt after Tom Brady’s departure. Not only are they in it, they are also leading the charge with a 9-4 record. New England is two games ahead of the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East and looks primed to make a run in the playoffs.

This week the Patriots head to Lucas Oil Stadium to take on the Indianapolis Colts who come off a 31-0 shutout over the Houston Texans. The win brought their record to 7-6 and into second place in the AFC South behind the Tennessee Titans.

This is a big game for both teams and should be a close game down to the wire. Here are the odds for this Week 15 AFC showdown Saturday night, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Patriots vs. Colts Prediction and Pick

The New England Patriots come off a bye in Week 14 and a win over the Buffalo Bills the week prior. The win was one of the most perplexing games I have ever seen in the NFL as Mac Jones passed the ball just three times. The Pats will need to spread the ball around a lot more if they hope to have such positive results against the Colts.

Indy totaled 389 yards in total offense last weekend and held the Houston offense to a mere 141 yards along with two takeaways. They also have the best rushing attack in the NFL thanks to Jonathan Taylor who leads the league in both rushing yards and touchdowns.

While the Patriots have dominated this matchup, this season is different. The Pats don’t have Brady anymore and the Colts are a different beast. I think they get it done this weekend with a win and cover over New England.

Pick: Colts -2 (-110)
