Patriots vs. Jets Prediction: New York Will Surprise In AFC East Rivalry
The New York Jets have had a tough week. Both Elijah Vera-Tucker and Breece Hall both went on IR. Hall was the engine driving the Jets offense, so what did the Jets do? They immediately traded for reinforcements – grabbing James Robinson from the Jaguars.
Robinson started the year hot, but has tailed off in the last few weeks. Is this the week for a resurgence from Robinson? Can the Patriots, who are coming off a home loss to the Chicago Bears, get back on track in this big AFC East matchup?

Patriots vs. Jets Best Bet and Prediction
I saw the Patriots move to 2.5-point favorites this week and had one question: Why?
New England – the loss to the Bears aside – doesn’t know what it’s doing at quarterback. Mac Jones didn’t look good on Monday night and Bailey Zappe looked like his time at the ball was about to end. Without a solid plan at quarterback, I don’t trust New England.
The Patriots are also being overvalued. The three opponents they’ve beaten have a combined five wins. They haven’t beaten a decent team yet, and I’m comfortable calling the Jets decent.
New York has figured out ways to win, and even overcame the vaunted Broncos defense last week. With Sauce Gardner able to shut down any of the Patriots’ receivers, New England will have to test the Jets’ 3rd ranked rushing defense on the ground.
The Jets are rolling right now. If they can get a little bit of production from either Michael Carter or James Robinson, they’ll cover this line by a mile.
