I’m tired of saying this phrase in regards to the Brooklyn Nets, but the rich just keep getting richer.

The Nets continue to be active in the free agent market, signing Paul Millsap to a contract today. Millsap spent the last four seasons with the Denver Nuggets averagingtw 9.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game last season.

Milsap is going to give the Nets more depth in the front court with Blake Griffin and Jeff Green. Brooklyn was near the bottom third in the league in rebounds per game last year, and Milsap will give them a boost in that category.

On top of Milsap’s signing, the Nets also plan to add LaMarcus Aldridge back to the team. Aldridge retired shortly after he signed with the Nets last season due to concerns about his health.

“For 15 years I’ve put basketball first, and now, it is time to put my health and my family first,” Aldridge said in his statement on Twitter.

He’s received medical clearance and is ready to come back to the game, with the Nets being the frontrunners to sign him.

The Nets now have an experienced frontcourt that can also space the floor. On a team with James Harden, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, you can never have too much spacing.

WynnBET has the Nets as the favorites to win the NBA title with +225 odds. Their win total line is also set at 56.5, with the under (-116) favoring the over (-106). Although they aren’t All-Stars anymore, having Milsap and Aldridge are still a good addition to the Nets going forward.
