Penguins vs. Golden Knights Prediction and Odds: Continue to Fade Vegas
The Pittsburgh Penguins are set to take on the Vegas Golden Knights tonight in a battle between two teams who have similar records, but are in very different spots in the standings.
The Penguins are 22-10-5 with 49 points, but sit in seventh in the Eastern Conference and fourth in the Metropolitan Division. Meanwhile, the Golden Knights are 23-14-2 for 48 points, but they are fourth in the Western Conference and first in the weak Pacific Division.
This is the first of two meetings between these teams this season.

Penguins vs. Golden Knights Prediction and Pick
I've been saying it all season, and I haven't been shown any reason to go away from this take. I still believe that the Golden Knights are massively overrated from a betting standpoint. Sure, they're in first in their division, but the Pacific is by far the worst division in the NHL and the Golden Knights have played more games than the majority of the NHL.
Vegas ranks fourth last in the league in high danger scoring chances against, allowing an average of 12.56 per 60 minutes of play. They also rank 22nd in team save percentage, at 89.97%. Now they face a Penguins team that ranks ninth in high danger scoring chances against, and fifth in team save percentage.
You won't find me betting on the Golden Knights many times this season, especially when they play a team as good as the Penguins.
