The first of two play-in tournament games on Tuesday will take place between the Brooklyn Nets and the Cleveland Cavaliers with the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference on the line.

Our own Ben Heisler previewed this game here, but I’m looking at another Peter’s Primetime Parlay for this matchup. We’ve won three straight, so why not kick off the postseason with a bang?

Let’s get into today’s picks, with odds via WynnBET Sportsbook:

Best NBA Parlay Picks for Cavs vs. Nets (+225 Odds)

  • Seth Curry OVER 9.5 Points
  • Darius Garland 20+ Points
  • Bruce Brown to Make 1+ 3-Pointers
  • Kevin Durant 40+ Points, Rebounds, Assists

Seth Curry OVER 9.5 Points

Seth Curry has been one of the most consistent players for the Nets since being acquired in the James Harden trade. He is averaging 14.9 points per game while shooting 49.3 percent from beyond the arc and 46.8 percent from 3 since joining Brooklyn, and I love him to get double-digit points today.

Curry has scored 10 or more points in six straight and 15 of his 19 games with the Nets. He has been dealing with an injury, but this is a low enough line where I think he reaches it with ease.

Darius Garland 20+ Points

If the Cavs are going to have any chance at an upset in this game, it’s going to come with Darius Garland going off.

Since returning from a back injury, Garland is averaging 24.8 points per game over his last 21 games and has been the focal point of the Cavs’ offense.

With Jarrett Allen out for this matchup, Garland is going to have the ball in his hands a ton. He’s cleared this number in 17 of his last 21 games and is averaging 19.4 shots per game over that stretch.

Bruce Brown to Make 1+ 3-Pointers

Bruce Brown has been an underrated shooter for the Nets this season, posting a 40.4 shooting percentage from beyond the arc, and I love him to hit a 3-pointer in tonight’s matchup.

Brown has found the range from deep in seven of his last 10 games, and he dropped two 3-balls on the Cavs in their last meeting on four attempts.

If Cleveland tries to limit Durant and Irving with double teams, Brown is going to be one of the primary beneficiaries.

Kevin Durant 40+ Points, Rebounds, Assists

How can you put together a Nets parlay without involving KD? (Hint: You can’t).

Durant has cleared 40+ points, rebounds and assists in 10 of his last 12 games, and he’s averaging an insane 32.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game over that stretch.

He’s become the Nets’ primary facilitator, posting 16 (!) dimes in his last game, and I think he has a big performance with the No. 7 seed on the line.
