Peter's Primetime Parlay for Game 1 of NBA Finals Between Celtics and Warriors
By Peter Dewey
Game 1 of the NBA Finals calls for a Peter’s Primetime Parlay!
We have a terrific matchup between the two best defensive teams in the NBA in the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics, so how should we bet on this game at WynnBET?
Here are four picks, and some alternate lines I’m looking to parlay in this game:
Best NBA Parlay Picks for Celtics vs. Warriors (+225 Odds)
- Derrick White OVER 6.5 Points
- Steph Curry UNDER 29.5 Points
- Jayson Tatum 20+ Points
- Boston Celtics +12.5
Derrick White OVER 6.5 Points
Derrick White has been ultra aggressive since returning to the lineup from the birth of his child, as he’s taking 11.0 shots per game and has cleared this line in four straight matchups.
Over his last 11 contests, White has put up over 6.5 points in eight games, and he’s taking 7.8 shots per game over that stretch. Given his defensive ability and the Warriors’ penchant for going small, I think White sees plenty of touches and minutes in Game 1.
Steph Curry UNDER 29.5 Points
It’s hard to fade Steph Curry as a scorer, but he’s cleared this line in just seven games this postseason and now is facing the No. 1 defense in the NBA.
Curry has also struggled against Marcus Smart in his career, shooting just 37 percent from the field and 30 percent from 3.
Jayson Tatum 20+ Points
This is the safest pick in this parlay, as Jayson Tatum has scored 20 or more points in 15 of his 18 playoff games.
The volume is going to be there for Tatum, as he’s averaging 27.0 points while taking 19.6 shots per game. Even with Gary Payton II back for Golden State, I think Tatum is going to have a solid game on Thursday night.
Boston Celtics +12.5
The Celtics have yet to lose a game this postseason by more than 12 points, and they always seem to hang around because of their elite defense.
Even though the Warriors have a penchant for pulling away in the second half, Boston has also been a solid second half team this postseason.
