Peter's Primetime Parlay: Grizzlies vs. Knicks
By Peter Dewey
The New York Knicks are hosting the Memphis Grizzlies at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night, so you know it’s only right that we get a primetime parlay for the action.
New York is a four-point underdog in this game at WynnBET, but the Knicks are coming off a win on Monday as they try to get back in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference.
Let’s breakdown tonight’s parlay, as we try to break the four-game streak of one leg missing:
Best Same-Game Parlay Picks for Grizzlies vs. Knicks (+220 Odds)
- New York Knicks +13.5
- Quentin Grimes 1+ 3-Pointers Made
- Immanuel Quickley 1+ 3-Pointers Made
- Kemba Walker UNDER 12.5 Points
- Desmond Bane 15+ Points and Rebounds
New York Knicks +13.5
Like I mentioned, the Knicks are four-point dogs in this game, but they’ve actually gone 8-2 against the spread in their last 10 home games.
Now, I’m going to move this line all the way to 13.5 points, as the Knicks have only lost just three games at home by more than 13.5 points, and one came against the Milwaukee Bucks with half the team in health and safety protocols.
The Grizzlies have been great against the spread as of late, so I want to give myself some extra cushion here.
Quentin Grimes 1+ 3-Pointers Made
Rookie guard Quentin Grimes has been on fire as of late, averaging 10.3 points per game while shooting 44.4 percent from beyond the arc over his last six games.
Grimes is going to have a prominent role off the bench (21.4 minutes per game since Christmas Day), and he’s taken advantage of his opportunities.
The rookie has hit a three in 17 of his last 19 games and is averaging 5.1 3-pointers attempted per game over that stretch. On top of that, Grimes has hit multiple 3-pointers in six straight. I think he finds the range at least once in this game.
Immanuel Quickley 1+ 3-Pointers Made
Sticking with bench guards for the Knicks, I’m buying low on Immanuel Quickley after he failed to hit a triple against the Sacramento Kings on Monday.
IQ has just six games this season that he hasn’t hit a 3-pointer in, and three of those games came in the Knicks’ first eight games of the season.
On the season, Quickley is averaging 5.0 3-point attempts per game. I love that volume, and I think he gets back to his usual tricks from beyond the arc tonight.
Kemba Walker UNDER 12.5 Points
Kemba Walker has come back to earth after a crazy stretch he went on when the Knicks were dealing with several players in the health and safety protocols.
Walker has gone under this number in eight of his last nine games, averaging just 7.7 points per game on 33.3 percent shooting over that stretch.
He played just 16:41 in the win over the Kings, and he has been dealing with knee issues that kept him out of a handful of games. There’s always a chance he explodes for a big game, but the smart bet here is to take the under.
Desmond Bane 15+ Points and Rebounds
Desmond Bane has been dominant for the Grizzlies this season, as he’s averaging 18.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 47.1 percent from the field and 42.0 percent from 3.
Bane has cleared this line on points alone in seven straight games, and the last time he failed to register 15-plus points and rebounds came back on Jan. 11. He’s only missed this mark twice since Dec. 23.
The Knicks struggle to defend the 3, allowing 13 made treys per game, so Bane should be able to get loose a few times tonight to reach this prop.
Peter Dewey’s betting record is 107-113-2 (-15.11 units) in the NBA this season. You can find all of his picks here.
