Peter's Primetime Parlay: Warriors vs. Mavericks
By Peter Dewey
Welcome to the debut, the maiden voyage of Peter’s Primetime Parlay, where I’m going to be delivering my favorite same-game parlay, using the Build Your Own Bet Feature at WynnBET, for some of the biggest NBA games each week.
Tonight, MVP candidates Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic will square off in Golden State, as the Golden State Warriors look for revenge after getting blown out by the Dallas Mavericks in their last meeting.
Same-game parlays allow bettors to wager on different props, game lines and more in order to have an increased payout if every leg hits.
Tonight, I’m looking at a five-leg play at +165 odds that I think will get us started on the right foot. That sound good to y’all?
Let’s get into the picks:
Best Same-Game Parlay Picks for Warriors vs. Mavericks
- Luka Doncic OVER 6.5 Rebounds
- Luka Doncic 35+ Points, Rebounds and Assists
- Steph Curry 20+ Points
- Kevon Looney OVER 5.5 Rebounds
- Jalen Brunson 16+ Points and Assists
Luka Doncic OVER 6.5 Rebounds
It’s no secret that Doncic is one of the best players in the NBA, but he’s been stuffing the stat sheet even more than usual since returning from an injury earlier this season.
Over his last 11 games, Doncic is averaging 25.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 9.2 assists per game. He’s also cleared 6.5 rebounds in all 11 games and 13 straight dating back to before his ankle injury.
The Warriors are a top five team in terms of rebounding percentage this season, but moving this line to 6.5 has me comfortable enough to take the over.
Luka Doncic 35+ Points, Rebounds and Assists
Going with similar thinking above, Doncic is averaging over 45 points, rebounds and assists per game over his last 11 contests.
Over that stretch, he has cleared 35+ points, rebounds and assists in all but one game, and it was his first game back from injury. As long as Doncic hovers around 20 points tonight, he should hit this with ease.
Steph Curry 20+ Points
Steph Curry has been in a brutal shooting slump, but I love that we can get him to score 20+ in this game.
Steph missed this in his last game against Dallas, but the volume for him has still been there, as he’s attempted 20 or more shots in five of his last eight games.
Curry is averaging 26 points per game, and I’m not going to overthink this and trust him to bounce back from a 13-point game his last time out.
Kevon Looney OVER 5.5 Rebounds
Kevon Looney has been dominant on the glass as of late, as he’s posted double-digit boards in five of his last six games and is averaging 7.2 rebounds per game this season.
Looney has gone below six rebounds in a game just one time this month, and the Warriors top-ranked defense should get enough stops for him to clean up on the defensive glass.
Jalen Brunson 16+ Points and Assists
Jalen Brunson is having a hell of a season in a contract year, as he’s averaging 15.8 points and 5.5 assists per game.
Brunson had 15 points and four dimes in the last matchup between these two teams, and he’s cleared a combined 16 points and assists in 21 of his last 22 games.
The Mavs have trusted Brunson to run the offense more this season, and I think this line is low enough where he may reach it on points alone tonight.
Peter Dewey’s betting record is 100-102-2 (-11.22 units) in the NBA this season. You can find all of hispicks here.
