For the second consecutive day in the final pairing of the 149th The Open Championship, Collin Morikawa broke away from Louis Oosthuizen, Jordan Spieth, and a late charge from Jon Rahm to win his first ever Claret Jug.

The win on Sunday at Royal St. George's Golf Club in Sandwich, England was his second major championship win, with the first coming at Harding Park in San Francisco at the 2020 PGA Championship. Morikawa has now won two majors in his first eight appearances.

Now that the sun has set on the final major of the 2021 season, WynnBET has released updated odds for the first three major golf tournaments for 2022: The Masters, PGA Championship, and U.S. Open.

Odds to win the 2022 Masters

WynnBET has a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard for the 2022 Masters Tournament, with Dustin Johnson, Jon Rahn, and Jordan Spieth all listed at +1100.

Johnson won the Masters in 2020 when the tournament was played in November due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He won by five strokes and finished -20 for the tournament; two strokes better than Tiger Woods in 1997 and Jordan Spieth in 2015. Johnson has two majors to his name, winning the U.S. Open back in 2016.

Rahm took home his first major in 2021 at the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, but has yet to win a green jacket at Augusta National.

Spieth has three major championships to his name, including a win at Augusta back in 2015. That same year, Spieth also won the U.S. Open, and finished second at the PGA Championship.

Thomas and DeChambeau have both had up and down seasons, following behind to round out the top-5.

Here's a look at the top-10 golfers based on odds at WynnBET to win the 2022 Masters:

2022 Masters Odds

Odds to win the 2022 PGA Championship

It's a bit surprising to see McIlroy at the top of this list, considering his inconsistencies on Tour this year. The 32-year old native of Ireland last won a major tournament in 2014 with wins at both the PGA Championship as well as the The Open Championship. McIlroy has won a total of four majors in his career, but perhaps the oddsmakers see Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a perfect fit for McIlroy to return as a champion.

Following McIlroy are both Rahm and Justin Thomas at +1200, with Johnson in 4th at +1400. Also, Viktor Hovland and Collin Morikawa make their first appearance on the top-10 list to win the 2022 PGA Championship.

Odds to win the 2022 U.S. Open

Koepka, a two-time U.S. Open winner comes in 4th on the oddsboard for next year's event. The 31-year old is a four-time major champion with all four wins coming since 2017.
