The Philadelphia 76ers have won five in a row, but their roster has recently become thinner with injuries and COVID-19 issues. Forward Danny Green and guard Furkan Korkmaz are game time decisions and forward Tobias Harris and guards Matisse Thybulle and Isaiah Joe are out with Covid-19.

The depleted Sixers will have their hand full on the road against the Chicago Bulls tonight.

The Bulls lost their last game in Philadelphia on Wednesday, but will look to bounce back at home. Demar Derozan put up a double-double in the losing effort, scoring 37 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Chicago Bulls Prediction and Pick

The 76ers average 110.8 points per game and the Bulls average 108.2 points per game, but those numbers have flipped in the last three contests, showing signs that Philadelphia’s manpower shortage is starting to take effect.

Also, Chicago has played against much better competition lately, whereas the 76ers have played the Detroit Pistons twice in their last five games. So, Philadelphia’s numbers may be slightly propped up from weaker opponents.

While both teams have the ability to run up the score, the Bulls are 24th in pace, and the 76ers are dead-last in pace, averaging less than 100 possessions per contest. Between both teams, the under is 11-5-1.

I’m backing the Bulls to win tonight’s game, but I’ll go with the tempo of these two offenses and take the under while it sits near even value.

Pick: Under 215.5
