Get ready to run things back, Phoenix Suns fans.

The Suns may have lost in the NBA Finals this past season to the Milwaukee Bucks, but the latest odds update from WynnBET is a great sign for the Suns ahead of NBA free agency on Aug. 2.

Phoenix, who opened in a tie with the Philadelphia 76ers in WynnBET’s NBA Finals odds, has now jumped the Sixers and is sole possession of fifth on the list at +1600.

That’s great news, as it likely means that oddsmakers expect All-Star point guard Chris Paul to return this offseason. That coincides with a report from Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer that Paul and the Suns may already have a deal.

“The biggest fish, Chris Paul, appears all but destined to return to Phoenix, sources said, on a deal that's now widely rumored to be for at least three years, $90 million,” Fischer wrote.

There are options for the Suns if Paul leaves, such as Mike Conley, Kyle Lowry or Lonzo Ball, but Phoenix certainly would love to have Paul on the roster for years to come. Keeping that continuity should help the Suns’ young core improve as they attempt to make another run to the Finals.

Last season, Paul averaged 16.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game for Phoenix while leading the Suns to the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.

At +1600 odds, the Suns trail only the Brooklyn Nets (+225), Los Angeles Lakers (+375), Bucks (+900) and Golden State Warriors (+1000) at WynnBET.

With the Lakers and Nets looking destined to match up in the Finals barring injury, the Suns and the rest of the NBA are looking to make moves this offseason to knock the two top dawgs down on the odds list.

Think the Suns can run it back to the NBA Finals again next year? Think they're done instead?
