The Pittsburgh Pirates are looking to take their series against the league’s worst team, the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday afternoon.

Tyler Mahle will get the start for the Reds while Zach Thompson goes for the Pirates.

The Reds have been downright awful this season, going 7-20 on the run line this season and they have the worst ERA in all of baseball.

Here are the odds for Sunday’s game via WynnBET:

Pirates vs. Reds Odds, Run Line and Total

Run Line:

  • Pirates +1.5 (-170)
  • Reds -1.5 (+140)

Moneyline:

  • Pirates: +122
  • Reds: -132

Total:

  • 8 (Over -115/Under -105)

Pirates vs. Reds Prediction and Pick

The Cincinnati Reds finally picked up a win on Friday, but they promptly lost their next game to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday.

Even though Reds ace Tyler Mahle is on the bump today, there’s no way I can’t back the Pirates as underdogs against this team.

The Reds have the worst ERA in baseball and have allowed a whopping 176 runs in 27 games so far this season.

I also think there is value on the over in this game, considering Zach Thompson has an ERA over 9 for the Pirates.

Lean(s): Pirates ML (+122) | OVER 8 (-115)
