Pittsburgh vs. West Virginia Prediction and Odds: It Can Get Worse For Pitt
By Reed Wallach
Things are falling apart quickly for Pittsburgh, and heading to Morgantown for an early season matchup against West Virginia is not what the doctor ordered.
It starts with last season, where three key contributors, Xavier Johnson, Au'Diese Toney, and Justin Champagnie left the program. The team lost Nick Sibane to a knee injury a few weeks back, and last week Ithiel Horton was arrested and subsequently suspended.
Now for the on-court product, the team lost to The Citadel by 16 at home in their opening game.
As for the other side, Bobby Huggins lost a few key contributors, but brings back the likes of Taz Sherman and Sean Mc'Neil to have West Virginia in the heat of Big 12 competition.
Will the home team dominate a short-handed Pitt team at home with their vaunted full court press? Let's find out, but first check out the odds at WynnBET Sportsbook.

Pittsburgh vs. West Virginia Pick and Prediction
The bottom isn't out on Pitt yet, a team that is quickly spiraling towards the basement of the ACC.
After being gashed by The Citadel, they now have to face an experienced West Virginia team on their home floor that is going to have no issues turning the Panthers over and running up the score.
West Virginia played Oakland close in their opener, namely because they shot sub-20% from beyond the arc, but the team did generate turnovers on more than a third of their opponents possessions. With a lack of reliable ball handlers and a quick turnaround to prepare for "Press Virginia" this game can get ugly for Pitt.
You can lay the points with Bobby Huggins and Mountaineers as the going gets tougher for Jeff Capel and the Panthers.
PICK: West Virginia -16 (-110)
