Two of the top teams in the NHL's Western Conference are set to face-off on Sunday night when the Nashville Predators take on the St. Louis Blues.

The Predators are tied with the Avalanche atop the conference with 51 points, but Colorado has four games in hand. The Blues are right behind Nashville, with 49 points including a game in hand on the Preds.

The two teams met once already this season. The Predators took the 4-3 decision in overtime.

Let's take a look at the odds via WynnBET for this Central Division matchup.

Predators vs. Blues Prediction and Pick

If I were to point out an NHL team right that is "fraudulent," AKA their record is better than it deserves to be, it's the St. Louis Blues. They rank 19th in the NHL in CORSI%, and they also rank 21st or worse in both high danger scoring chances for, and high danger scoring chances against.

Look no further than their expected goals statistics for proof of this. They're scoring 0.53 more goals per 60 minutes than expected, and allowing 0.28 fewer goals per 60 minutes than expected. If advanced analytics are any indication, the Blues are due for regression.

Meanwhile, people still aren't respecting a Predators team that ranks fifth in NHL in high danger scoring chances against, allowing just 9.77 per 60 minutes of play.

I'll fade St. Louis and take Nashville as a road underdog.

Pick: Predators +110
