We’re on a streak in Peter’s Primetime Parlay, cashing in on back-to-back Thursdays, so let’s make it three straight tonight!

I’m eying the Minnesota Timberwolves-San Antonio Spurs matchup in the NBA, as two teams that could face in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament will get a tune up tonight.

Let’s get into the picks, with all odds via WynnBET:

Best NBA Parlay Picks for Spurs vs. Timberwolves (+300 Odds)

  • San Antonio Spurs +15.5
  • Keldon Johnson 25+ Points, Rebounds, Assists
  • Tre Jones UNDER 9.5 Assists
  • Anthony Edwards OVER 18.5 Points

San Antonio Spurs +15.5

The Spurs are going to be without star Dejounte Murray, so I’m moving this line from +8 to +15.5 on an alternate spread.

San Antonio enters this game on a three-game winning streak, and it has kept games close all season long. Dating back to Jan. 15, the Spurs have just two losses by more than 15 points.

This should be a hotly-contested matchup, especially since San Antonio is third in the league in defensive rating over its last 10 games.

Keldon Johnson 25+ Points, Rebounds, Assists

Keldon Johnson has been on fire as of late, clearing 25-plus points, rebounds and assists in 10 of his last 11 games, and I think he’s poised for another big night with Murray out of the lineup.

The Wolves are just 24th in defensive rating over their last 10, and Johnson has scored 20 or more points alone in seven straight games. As long as he comes close to that number, he should be fine, as the third-year forward is averaging 6.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game this season as well.

Tre Jones UNDER 9.5 Assists

Tre Jones will likely start for Murray, and he did pick up 10 dimes in his last game, but he’s cleared this number just three times all season.

Jones had seven and nine assists in his two previous starts, and while I think he can have a solid game distributing the ball, I think he falls just short of 10 dimes in this one.

Anthony Edwards OVER 18.5 Points

Anthony Edwards is averaging 21.1 points per game on the season, and he’s one of the best young scorers in the game today.

Over his last 10 games, Edwards has cleared this line in seven of them, and he’s ended up with 18 points in two of the three games that he failed to get over the hump.

Edwards and the Wolves play at the fastest pace in the NBA this season, and he’s taken a good amount of shots per game over his last 10, coming in at 16.8. I think he gets enough volume to clear this on Thursday.
