Remember when the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders were the only undefeated teams in the AFC?

That was fun. 

Both teams have come crashing back down to earth the past two weeks, as they’ve both lost back-to-back games to fall to 3-2. 

Denver struggled mightily on offense against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5 and the Raiders had an ugly loss to the Chicago Bears where their offense struggled to get anything going. 

The Broncos have a chance to pick up a home win where they are 1-1 this season, but this one is expected to be close.

Raiders vs. Broncos Prediction and Pick

The Broncos decided to start playing offense in the second half against the Steelers, and they made things close before a Teddy Bridgewater pick in the end zone sealed a 27-19 loss. 

Denver’s offense was fine against three of the worst teams in the league in Weeks 1-3, but it has taken a major step back the past two weeks, putting up just 26 points. 

The Raiders offense relies heavily on the passing game, and it may have a chance to expose a Denver defense that allowed Lamar Jackson to throw for 316 yards in Week 4 and Ben Roethlisberger to throw for 253 yards and two scores this past week. 

I’m not sold on Denver’s offense to compete if the Raiders put up points early, so I’ll take Las Vegas to cover the three-point spread.
