The NFL has been sending the Jaguars to Europe for years so we don’t have to watch them, but maybe they can send this game to the Moon or talk to Elon Musk about playing it on Mars, or behind a Twitter paywall. Either way, the NFL should do something, because these teams aren’t just disappointing, they’re abject disasters. The Las Vegas Raiders fell to 2-7 after losing to the Jeff Saturday Colts on Sunday and the Denver Broncos only managed 10 points against a very injured Tennessee defense and fell 17-10. They are 3-6 on the season.

There’s no turning it around for either of these teams, their big swings in the offseason haven’t paid off, but hopefully our bets will pay off. Here’s how I’ll be betting this game, but first the odds and the trends.

Raiders vs. Broncos Odds, Spread and Total

Denver and Las Vegas Betting Trends

  • Denver is 3-6 ATS
  • Las Vegas is 3-6 ATS
  • The under is 8-1 in Denver’s games
  • Vegas is 1-7 ATS in last 8 games vs. a team with a losing record
  • Vegas is 9-1 ATS in last 10 meetings
  • Under is 9-3 in last 12 meetings

Raiders vs. Broncos Prediction and Pick

The under is 8-1 in Broncos games this season, the one game it didn’t hit was Week 4 when the Raider beat the Broncos 32-23 in Vegas. Now, Derek Carr and the Raiders will head up to Mile High after another awful loss. Josh McDaniels' team has lost to the Jaguars and the Colts in back-to-back weeks. That is bad by itself, but it is worse when you consider that the Colts hired Jeff Saturday away from ESPN to be the Head Coach and he had to spend half the week introducing himself to everyone. The Raiders are a dumpster fire and Josh McDaniels will be fired soon and walk right back into Bill Belichick's waiting arms to be the Patriots OC.

It would be fitting for McDaniels last game as the Raiders head coach to come against the Broncos, the team he got his first head coach job with. I think that is a real possibility because it is clear that he isn’t suited to be a head coach.

Speaking of not suited to be a head coach, Nathaniel Hackett might be out in Denver in his first year too. Luckily this most recent awful loss didn’t happen in primetime. I don’t want to watch a second of this tire fire, but I do want to make money off it. I love the under in this one, the Broncos offense cannot score and Jerry Jeudy had to leave last game with a severe ankle injury.

Pick: Under 42 (-110)
