The Los Angeles Chargers were able to dethrone the two-time AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs last week, so how will they follow it up against the undefeated Las Vegas Raiders.

Las Vegas has won two games in overtime at home and went across the country to upset the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Now these two AFC West foes will face off in Los Angeles. Who has the edge?

Raiders vs. Chargers Odds

Spread

Raiders: +3.5 (-110)

Chargers: -3.5 (-110)

Moneyline

Raiders: +160

Chargers: -190

Total: 52.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Ravens vs. Broncos Betting Trends

  • Las Vegas is 27-22-2 to the OVER under Jon Gruden
  • Las Vegas is 11-7 in division games under Jon Gruden
  • Since 2010, the Chargers are 37-44-1 ATS

I make the Chargers just about a four point favorite, so my buy point on the home team is -3 (-115).

I’m not particularly impressed with the Raiders' 3-0 start as I was not a believer in the Steelers to begin with, and the team found a way to beat a banged up Ravens and Dolphins team in overtime.

Las Vegas' defense is still susceptible to big plays and I’m expecting Justin Herbert to get whatever he wants on Monday Night Football. The Raiders are 17th in explosive pass defense and 28th in explosive rush defense.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles has one of the best secondaries in the NFL under new head coach Brandon Staley, notably rookie Asante Samuel Jr. who has two interceptions this season.

The Chargers are one of the best teams in the league at defending explosive passes, which will be huge against a Raiders offense that is reliant on the deep ball. The team is at the bottom of the NFL in adjusted line yards and running back success rate, but top seven in explosive pass rate.

I’m going to hold out to see if this line drops back down to 3, but I see L.A. winning this one handedly in a reality check game for Las Vegas, who have a questionable 3-0 mark.
