The Las Vegas Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers will face-off in a Week 16 battle between two teams who aren't yet mathematically eliminated from the postseason, but both who would need a lot to go their way to have a shot.

The Raiders enter the game coming off one of the most wild finishes we've seen this season. Chandler Jones intercepted a lateral on the final play of the game to score a walk-off defensive touchdown.

The Steelers are also coming off a win, capturing a 24-16 victory against the Carolina Panthers.

Let's dive into the odds for this AFC matchup.

Raiders vs. Steelers Prediction and Pick

Let's be honest, even though these two teams are technically still alive for a playoff spot, they both stink. My strategy when two equally bad teams play against each other late in the season is to take the team getting the points. In this case, it means I'll back Las Vegas getting two and a half points.

The Raiders have statistically been the better team this season. They rank 15th in net yards per play while the Steelers rank 27th.

Las Vegas should also have a stylistic advantage they can exploit in this one. The Steelers secondary has been one of the worst in the NFL this season, ranking 28th in opponent yards per pass attempt. Now, they have to try to stop one of the best quarterback and wide receiver duos in the NFL in Derek Carr and Devante Adams.

I don't know if they win outright, but if this game comes down to the wire I'll feel a lot more comfortable being on the side that's getting almost three points. Give me the Raiders at +2.5.
