Rams vs. Cardinals Prediction and Pick
The Rams hit a slump in their season, losing three straight ugly games, but I'm going to die on the hill of thinking Los Angeles is a serious Super Bowl contender.
The Rams rank first in the entire NFL in yards per play at 6.2, and their defense ranks fourth in the NFL in opponent yards per play at 5.1. The Cardinals rank 11th (5.7), and sixth (5.2) in those categories, but in their defense, they were without quarterback Kyler Murray for three games this season.
One key thing to note about the Arizona defense, is that it's vulnerable in the run game. It ranks 30th in the league in opponent yards per carry, allowing opposing teams to gain an average of 4.7 yards per rush. You may want to target Darrell Henderson or Sony Michel in fantasy this week.
The run game is a strength for the Rams, who rank second in opponent yards per carry keeping them to 3.8 yards per rush.
I'm going to back the statistics in this one, and continue to bet on the Rams.
