The Green Bay Packers will host the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12 of the NFL season. The game will serve as a rematch of last year's divisional round playoff game when the Packers bested the Rams by a final score of 32-18.

The Rams look to get back on track after suffering two straight disappointing losses. They fell to the Titans on Sunday Night Football in Week 9, and then was upset by the 49ers on Monday Night Football in Week 10. They're coming off a BYE week ahead their matchup with the Packers.

Green Bay is coming off a close loss to the Vikings in Week 11, but still hold the No. 2 spot in the NFC with an 8-3 record.

Rams vs. Packers Prediction and Pick

You might look at the Packers record this season, including their 9-2 mark against the spread, and assume that last week's loss to the Vikings was an anomaly. Some of the statistics would disagree, and they may lead you to believe they're due for some regression in the coming weeks.

The Packers rank 14th in yards per play on offense. Their defense ranks fifth in opponent yards per play, but they're vulnerable on the ground where they rank 20th in opponent yards per carry.

Meanwhile, the Rams still rank among the top in the NFL in several statistics despite the two recent losses. They're second in yards per play on offense and eighth in opponent yards per play. An area that they need to improve in is in the red zone. They rank only 14th in red zone offense and 10th in red zone defense.

I'm not going to let the two bad games sway me on the Rams, I still think they're a serious Super Bowl contender this year. They'll enter the game on a week of rest, and the banged up Packers have yet to have their BYE week. That factor cannot be understated.

Pick: Rams +100
