The Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers played in an exciting playoff game in the divisional round of last year's NFL Playoffs. The Rams would get the better of the Bucs and go on to win the Super Bowl.

Now, less than a year later, both teams are on the outside looking in when it comes to the postseason.

They'll face-off in Week 9 action with a chance to get back in the win column with a victory. Which team will pull it off?

Let's take a look at the latest odds.

Rams vs. Buccaneers Odds, Spread, and Total

Rams vs. Buccaneers Odds, Spread, and Total Movement

The Buccaneers opened as 2.5-point favorites. The line has moved up half a point to Buccaneers -3. The total in the game increased from 42.5 to 43.

Rams vs. Buccaneers Prediction and Pick

I keep waiting for the Rams to bounce back, but they refuse to do so. I can no longer bank on that happening considering their offense ranks 31st in the NFL in yards per play, averaging just 4.8 yards per snap.

The Buccaneers have been bad, but not nearly to that level, averaging 5.2 yards per play on offense.

The Rams are also going to run into issues when it comes to the Buccaneers pass rush. The Rams rank 28th in QB sacked percentage, allowing a sack on 8.45% of Matt Stafford drop backs. Now, their terrible offensive line has to face the Tampa Bay pass rush that ranks third in QB sack percentage at 8.5%.

As a whole, the Buccaneers defense has been leagues above the Rams defense, which was one of the best units in the NFL just a year ago.

I'll back Tampa Bay to bounce back on Sunday.
