Rangers vs. Blackhawks Prediction and Odds: New York's Win Streak Ends Tonight
No team in the NHL's Eastern Conference has a long win streak than the New York Rangers, who have won six-straight games heading into tonight's showdown with the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Blackhawks, on the other hand, are trying to dig themselves out of the basement of the Western Conference, and are slowly but surely moving up the standings as they've won six of their last 10 games.
The two teams will face-off in the second half of a home-and-home, with the Rangers taking the first contest in a 3-2 decision at Madison Square Garden on Saturday.

Rangers vs. Blackhawks Prediction and Pick
The New York Rangers are a fascinating case of an NHL team in that they rank near the bottom of the league in most advanced analytics, but they make up for it with accurate shooting and some of the top goaltending in the NHL.
New York ranks second to last in CORSI%, but ranking ninth in shooting percentage and fifth in team save percentage has led them to wins this season. Goaltender Igor Shesterkin is an early candidate for the Vezina Trophy, sporting a stellar 2.05 goals against average and a .937 save percentage.
With that being said, the Rangers are turning to backup goaltender Alexander Georgiev tonight, who hasn't been nearly impressive. He has a 3.58 goals against average and a .876 save percentage in eight starts this season.
The Rangers can't hide behind stellar goaltending tonight, and their lack of play between the blue lines is going to cost them. I'll back Chicago as home underdogs.
