The Seattle Mariners are aiming to sweep the Texas Rangers on Thursday night, as they’ve won 6-2 and 4-2 in the first two games of this three-game set.

The Mariners will send Marco Gonzales (1-1, 3.00 ERA) to the mound on Thursday while the Rangers have Taylor Hearn (0-1, 4.70 ERA) on the bump.

Texas is just 2-9 this season, but can it salvage the final game of this series?

Let’s get into the odds via WynnBET

Rangers vs. Mariners Odds, Run Line and Total

Run Line:

  • Rangers +1.5 (-160)
  • Mariners -1.5 (+130)

Moneyline:

  • Rangers: +115
  • Mariners: -125

Total:

  • 8 (Over -110/Under -110)

Rangers vs. Mariners Prediction and Pick

The Rangers have been horrible to start this season, as they have a minus-16 run differential and have lost five straight games heading into Thursday’s contest.

Not only that, but the Rangers are the worst team in baseball on the run line so far in 2022, going just 3-8 through their first 11 games. Seattle, on the other hand, has been elite on the run line, going 8-4 through its first 12 games.

The Mariners’ pitching staff has been impressive this season, allowing just 39 runs through 12 games, and I expect Gonzales to have another solid outing against a struggling Rangers lineup.

Texas is just 19th in baseball in OPS this season, and it has scored three or fewer runs in four straight games.

I’ll back Seattle to grab the win on Thursday.

Lean: Mariners Moneyline (-125)
